Lawn/Garden Tractor Pull Rules

1. Weight Classes:
(a) 0 - 600 lbs.
(b) 601 lbs. - 900 lbs.
(c) 901 lbs. - 1,250 lbs.
* Garden tractors weighing over 1,250 lbs. will or can pull in the 0 to 1,500 lbs. tractor class.
2. All tractors should be of the Lawn/Garden tractor variety with stock engines maximum of two cylinders.
3. Gas, diesel or LPG fuels only. No alcohol - No nitrous oxide - No race fuels - No octane boosters.
4. No due tires, chains or studs.
5. Must have operating brakes.
6. Weight: front and rear weights must be mounted to the wheels, frame weights must be mounted or bolted
to the frame.
NO SUITCASE WEIGHTS.
Not acceptable:
a. Weights that are tied or strapped to machine.
b. Weights that are laying the tray or storage bins.
c. Chains coiled around seat or any part of machine.
7. Tractor draw bar point of hook (clevis) must be no higher than the center line of the rear axle to the ground.
8. "Any" part falling off the tractor after being hooked and until the tractor is unhooked will result in disqualification.
9. The tractor must remain within the defined "in bounds" track area during the pull.
10. No "full throttle" starts or jerking sled. First offense
- restart. Second offense -
disqualification.
11. Immediately after pulling, all tractors "may" be required to go through technical
inspection again.
12. Driver must exhibit the ability to control the tractor at all times. This is to include during technical inspections, before pull, backing up to sled, and after pulling.
13. Drivers must stay on the seat of the tractor at all times. Hands must be on the steering wheel, hand brakes, hand clutch or throttle at all times during the pull.
14. No alcohol or intoxication allowed.
15. Any questionable modifications or alterations (altered wheelbase, frames, front ends, etc.) will be reviewed by the rules committee to establish eligibility. Then you will be allowed to pull in Exhibition Class only within their weight class.
16. All rules will be interpreted by the Garden Rules Committee. Any unforeseen problems or oversights will be ruled on by the Rules Committee with their rulings being final.
17. Track and safety officials have the authority to enforce all rules as stated herein and
to disqualify any tractor for violations or unsafe conditions. All decisions are final.
18. Stabilizer bars or wheelie bars are optional, not required, but are strongly recommended.
19. Foot trottles are optional.
20. Tractors not meeting these rules may be allowed to pull in Exhibition Class as determined by the Rules Committee.
